　　It is my pleasure to introduce the School of Physical Education, LUPCT.

　　The school contains five sections. The major aim is to provide the routine teaching of the P.E. courses for the graduate students and undergraduates. Meanwhile, we are responsible for the organization and training of the mass sports activities for the entire university. We also have a program which can offer Bachelor’s degree in the field of Social P.E. In the years of 1992 and 1996, the school won the honor of “National Excellent Class”. Our Kungfu course, rugby, badminton, fencing and cross-country race are all well-known nationwide.

　　The teaching staffs in the school are working hard in their posts so as to make some contributions to the P.E. education in China and to the distribution and popularization of mass sports. Our motto is “Carry forward the spirits of Olympics and enhance the cause of sports science.”
